AI-generated content within a Smart Content block allows you to effortlessly create and adapt content dynamically for each proposal, making it easy for sales teams to edit and customize them. Additionally, it can ingest and utilize information from external sources, streamlining the proposal creation process.

How to set up AI-generated content
Add a Smart content block to the place in your document where you want the dynamic content to be generated.
In the Smart content menu select the option ‘AI-generated content’
Select ‘+Add prompt’ and input the prompt to generate the text once a document is created from the template.
Passing additional context into the prompt
By default, all prompts you create will use the document context to generate text within the Smart Content block.
However, you can enhance the prompt by adding additional context through variables or by referencing relevant web pages.
To add a variable to the prompt, click on the block and select Edit prompt. Then start typing an opening square bracket [. When the list of variables available in the template appears, select a variable from the list or continue typing the variable's name manually.
If you specify a web page as the context for text generation, the block will access the web page's content to generate the text.
Testing your prompts
You can test your prompt output before adding it to the block by running a test generation. This allows you to adjust your prompt for optimal results. To do this, select the small arrow next to Add/Update button and select Test prompt from the dropdown.
Review test results and select +Add prompt if you like them or hit the ‘return’ button to go back to prompt editing.
Saving prompts
You can save the most frequently used prompts to reuse in other templates or for text generation in Documents with our AI in text blocks feature.
Once saved, the list of your prompts will appear underneath the prompt input each time you use AI-generated content.
Creating documents with AI-generated content
When a Document is created from a template that contains AI-generated Smart Content the text in such block will be automatically generated upon document creation. The block will have a corresponding label for the document owner to review its contents before sending it externally.
If the prompt contains variables as additional context, the contents of the block will be re-generated each time a value of one of the variables changes.
