You can give your customers more choices by making products in your quote optional and product quantity customizable.

Select the vertical ellipsis (three dots) menu to the far right of the item and turn on both the Optional items and Quantity editing toggles.

Once you’ve enabled Optional items for your recipients, it will be automatically pre-selected in your quote.

In addition, you can give your customers the flexibility to select one or several items from your quote. You can do this by choosing the desired option from the 'Recipient options' dropdown menu at the top right of a section and selecting either "Single-item selection" or "Multiple-item selection". By default, the quote section has "Customized selection" enabled, which allows you to mark some items as required and others as optional.

Enabling "Multiple-item selection" pre-selects all items in a section for recipients. You can deselect items by unchecking the checkboxes on the left to the item's name.

Make sure at least one field is assigned to the recipient. This will allow the recipient to select or deselect a product and change its quantity.

Users with an Admin role in the account can also set up the default quantity editing state for volume-based products.

As we're gradually releasing this functionality to our customers, you might not see it within your account right away.

When a section is selected or deselected by the recipient, the quote total is automatically updated.
